A technology company specializing in building access control systems is looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer to join their team. The company manufactures hardware controllers that regulate access to office buildings and develops the software that manages permissions. These controllers are embedded into walls and determine door access based on card swipes.

The team is currently rewriting their access management platform using Python and is seeking a skilled developer who can take ownership of both front-end and back-end development. Hardware-related development is handled separately by the controller’s original designer.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
• Strong programming skills and the ability to learn new languages or technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Upper-intermediate English or higher (B2+)

Back-end tech stack:

• Python (Django)
• PostgreSQL (MySQL experience also accepted)
• MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases)
• Unit testing (pytest or similar frameworks)

Front-end tech stack:

• HTML, CSS (SCSS)
• JavaScript, TypeScript
• React
• Redux (or other state management libraries)
• Formik (or other form management libraries)
• Jest

Responsibilities:

• Primary focus on back-end development of a new access control management system  
• Maintain and build new features for the front-end UI  
• Write integrations with third-party systems
• Optimize performance across the stack
• Participate in code reviews and write documentation
